After St. Peter's...I stroll (this is Italy...stroll...)
I s t r o l l to the Piazza Novano. A very magical part of the 'centro' of Roma...
O.K. so I forget the name of this fountain...something about the Little Mermaid movie...
what was her dad's name again?
ok. another test. google it.
The Pantheon. The best preserved building in Italy. Magical inside.
Here's that magical inside of the Pantheon...The only light comes from the occhia
(window, no glass) at the top...
Another famous place...
La Fontana de Trevi, or Trevi Fountain is my favorite sight in Rome..
The massive amount of water flowing through the fountain sounds like a water fall...
Ok. So I'm a really tight budget for this trip. That's why I am volunteering with Italian families in exchange for room and board...instead of language school...(I know, I'm hearing a 'poor baby'..) so I had to skip the guided bike tour.. 'molto cara' (very espensive)... instead my Italian friend Cinzia told me about this guy with very old creaky bikes for rent for only $4! yay!
I biked to the above Borghese Gardens....
This is a very small lake in the Borghese Gardens... ok so a pond really.. here you can hire a little boat. Um. Why?
But it is pretty to look at. :)
The perfect end to my day... GELATO! Famous for it sherbet-like-lightness
but very, very flavorful.
An absolute MUST.... at LEAST once a day!
For now
Ciao! A Dopo! (Later!)

What wonderful architecture -- we have nothing here that can compare, do we? And the scale/size of it is amazing!
